THE SILENCE THAT STANDS

£6.00Price

The Silence That Stands is good. It opens with Poor Poor Mary, a rocker with a story and closes with Blind Man, an examination of relationship toxicity and self-awareness. I some places, One Step and Whisper, for example, its dares to be different and challenges the listener who might have expectations of Gil. I love A Pound of Lead Or Feathers. It is a beautiful, melancholy, yet ultimately hopeful piece, full of contradictory lyrics, always searching for resolution.
