GARDEN OF EDEN

This is possibly my favourite album, although one should never make Sophie’s Choice. Bad parenting! But from track one to track eleven I think it all came together. The Richest Man In the Kingdom was the epic with which I wanted to end and The Day Nobody Lied could equally have been as good a sign off.

The running order is spot on. The piece has brevity and humour, gives the listener’s ears a rest when they need it and pushes on with its emotional assault to the last note.

It is an album of depth and variety. One should never be too pleased with oneself, but I felt very satisfied with the end product.
